"Sir I DEMAND that you contact Inquirer and the Doctor," Crais shouts, fed up with waiting.

Oh yes, I recognized Crais. Looks just like the chap who was chasing that Amrican who’s ship had the bad luck of being hit by his kin’s fighter ship on that one show: Space Chase.

Oh yes, Space Chase is what Farscape could have been called. Just in my reality the name had been different. That and quiet a few other details. Same basic story line, but my reality it had some different actors playing parts that Betty’s show. Was shot in America instead of Austrailia (and fear that it just didn’t have the same . . . . flavor). Lani John Tupu the actor had played Crais and the TV show was pretty good, though you shall NEVER hear me say that there is ANY science fiction TV show out there BETTER than Doctor Who! Still, was a shame that it had been cancelled in it’s first season, it was! Then again, say it was for a good cause!

See, reason why I know about the show (and the actor) in the first place is I am a . . . fan of Doctor Who. Dearie, when they were mucking about for funds, the BBC and such to continue the drama, where do you think the money came from? Truth be told, I fear that it was my favorite tele show that killed Space Chase.

Do be a dear, though, and not tell Betty or Ragan about that. When they had first suggested Farscape to me imagine the surprise I had when I actually . . .

Nevermind, dearie. Not really important right now.

Crais is, though. He’s in a bad way, he is. Just he and we didn’t know it, yet.

If I had known before hand, I perhaps would have been a bit . . . kinder.

Then again . . . .

Well, nothing for it. Just read on and see.

“Lighten up, Francis.” I drawl, causing him and the station’s commanding officer to jump slightly at the unexpected commentary.

You’d have to be there. The timing of it had just been so spot on!

Some of my friends chuckle a little bit at my adlib imitation of that one drill instructor from Stripes. Others look at each other (talking about the gray girls, dearie) as if to ask why that should be so funny.

Others are just looking wildly around, having not expected to be picked up and dropped off unannounced into this place . . . .

1. “What the frell?!” three female Nebari voices shout, blending in perfect harmony in their perfectly surprised states.
