Teleported to the castle

Cecilia sighed, her heart heavy with regret. Belboz had kept her alive for this very reason, in the form of Fred the knight. He had betrayed the kingdom by conspiring with Rogell to remove her as heir, and now was turning the tables, betraying Rogell to seize power himself. And she was just a pawn to be used in his plan. But she had no options. She couldn't defeat Rogell alone.

"Come now, Take my hand." Belboz said. Cecilia did so, and the old wizard spoke a few magical words. A brilliant flash of light occured, and Cecilia felt the air around them bend. When the light died, she saw she was no longer in the wizard's lair, but they were both in the courtyard of the castle.

"Halt, who goes there!?" a soldier, said running towards them, sword drawn. He then saw Cecilia's face and froze in shock. "The..this... this cannot be!" He fell to the ground, kneeling.

Cecilia stepped away from Belboz as the wizard drew a hood over his head. The soldier, trembling, said "Princess Cecilia, is it really you?"

"Yes, I have returned to the kingdom. I must see my father, the king, at once. Take us to him."

The soldier shook his head gravely. "Princess, I am sorry to tell you, but your father, our beloved king, has died this very night." Cecilia gasped, then began to sob. She had hoped to see him at least one more time.

"Now is not the time for tears, princess." Belboz said, coming beside her. "Where is Duke Rogell? Has he been crowned yet?"

The soldier informed them that the crowning ceremony was underway in the throne room. The Bishop of Camelyn had completed the King's funeral mere hours before, and was now proceeding to crown the King's nephew, Rogell, as King.

1. They race to the throne room and manage to stop the crowning
2. They arrive too late and Rogell has already been declared king
3. Cecilia breaks down crying at the death of her father
