Fighting the gigantic plant-beast was not a very attractive proposition,
but even so Astra thought that it would be preferable to trying to escape
when threatened by so many blowpipes. "Come on!" she told the others,
pretending to more confidence than she actually felt. "This thing is a
plant, after all. We should be able to run rings round it."
She ran forward and aimed a powerful kick at it, midway between two of its mouths.
