Since Josh doesn't remember having swapped from the old staircase room, which is much larger, to the current one he and Scott occupy, he grows angry enough to slap Scott across the face good and hard for lying.

SMACK!

"Liar," Josh mumbles.

Scott, in a lot of pain, and on the brink of tears, places a hand to the cheek that Josh has just slapped.

  1. Scott thumps Josh in retaliation.
  2. Time rewinds, which proves Scott correct in his assessment.
  3. Same as above, but Josh still slaps Scott again for good measure.
  4. Josh dives out a window and lands in the larger staircase room.
