"Scott, Scott!" Josh cried. (Scott had changed back with a low rumble and a fart smell). "You gotta see this! Out the window is another staircase room but it's ten times as big and has ten times as many staircases!"
"Duh." said Scott. "That's where we came from."
"What?"
"Two years ago. We moved from there to here."
Josh doesn't remember any of this.

  1. Bitterly accuse Scott of lying.
  2. Josh suddenly remembers this.
  3. Josh slaps Scott for lying.
  4. Josh can't accept this and makes up some fantasy about where they were two years ago.
  5. Two years pass.
