Belboz's Death is Revealed

"But why?" asked Toby, "Surely-"

Astra interrupted, "There's no additional harm in letting them know all of what they already know part of. The damage has already been done."

Toby grunted and told all that Fred told him. How Fred encountered Belboz. How Belboz decided to play a trick on Fred. How Belboz (and Fred) wasn't aware Fred was a shifter but "tricked" him into thinking so. How Belboz made him wear a tutu telling him it would make transforming easier. How Fred caught Belboz off guard when he transformed in a rage and burned him to a crisp.

Ken burst out laughing. Darren looked like he was trying hard to hold his laughter in. Gaoric frowned.

"It's not funny! Fred killed someone because of a harmless joke!" Toby said.

"*snort* Oh, I doubt Belboz is gone," said Ken, "Belboz's skills were awesome, and I've heard of lesser wizards bringing themselves back as ghosts. I don't know how it works, casting something while they're dead. I think we can expect Belboz to show up any time and be a nuisiance to Fred."

"Really? Will Fred be alright?" asked Toby.

"Probably. If Belboz does show up, which is not for certain, he'll probably just bother Fred, but not hurt him. Fred did kill him, but I think that Belboz will blame himself more for provoking a shifter," everyone looked doubtful.
