The four introduced themselves, caught between looking at the gnome and
his strange 'vehicle'. There was good reason for it to be likened to a
horse drawn carriage as the driver sat high up in the open, where there
was no shelter. There wasn't a place inside for passangers, though - they
sat behind the driver on comfortable looking seats. It wasn't something
for those who suffered vertigo. Any locals that were there to see the strange spectacle did so from a distance. Plucky told the four that he was an inventor, and as such, there were always strange noises in his home that made the people around about frightend of him. He demonstrated one of them with the little bulb-horn near where he sat. The resultant noise made both Khrusti and Velus jump, but remarkably neither Fred or Astra flinched. Plucky then made another noise by giving a high-pitched whistle which brought two other gnomes running. Plucky introduced them as his assistants, and he sent them back to collect some tools while he surveyed the damage. They soon came back, and the three soon had the vehicle up-and running again. He offered the four a ride back to his home. Alternatively, they could walk behind, as it didn't travel that fast.
