It's One Surprise After Another

After around ten minutes of travel they were delighted to see that the tunnel started to level out towards the horizontal. Like the first tunnel that Stacy had discovered since her arrival in this strange world, it never seemed to end.

Several miles on they were aware of the tunnel ceiling gradually getting lower until the tunnel terminated suddenly. The two women stared at each other in shock. Surely this wasn't it? Surely they weren't trapped here? The two of them started to press around on the walls and ceiling, certain there had to be some hidden switch or something similiar. They had no luck whatsoever until Astra kicked a small stalagmite in frustration. As she hopped around cursing, they both heard a small creak. A small opening appeared to their left. Stacy shrugged. Seeing they didn't really have any other option, they squeezed their way through, Astra having a more difficult time of it.

They had to crawl their way through yet another tunnel, the rough floor playing havoc with their knees. Eventually they noticed the light get considerably brighter when they finally emerged from the tunnel and looked around.
