A Close Encounter...

Now our three adventurers were gawking intelligently when a door slid open on the side and they saw this small figure silhouetted by an almost blinding white light. They saw it float gently down to the ground on some platform-thing and approach them.

Now the alien was almost stereotypical. Humanoid in shape, it was around four foot in height. It wore a strange uniform that was the same light grey as its skin. It had a large head out of proportion with the rest of its body. The largest features were its black almond-shaped pupil-less eyes. It had two small holes in place of a nose and a small thin lipless mouth.

It raised a three fingered hand and said in a voice that souunding almost like he was high on helium, "Hail Earthlings. Can you direct me to the place you call Roswell?"

Velus fainted. Fred and Astra shook their heads numbly, not able to say a word. The alien gave a sound that was close to a sigh. He hated it when that happened.

He turned around slowly and floating back up to his spaceship. He gave the three a brief wave before the door closed. The UFO took off and speeded into the distance.

1. Velus revives. Fred and Astra are still in shock.
2. Ten minutes later. Their need to relieve themselves overrides their shock and they rush to find somewhere to go.
