Astra whistled in surprise. "I wonder what would have happened if I had been on the far side when that happened," she said. "Would I have been trapped in that foggy place without a portal, unable to get back here?" Of course, none of them could answer that.

"So, are we going to risk going through into that jungle?" Fred asked. "It would get us off this island."

"We could wait for a bit, and see if the far side changed into somewhere more suitable," Alfred suggested. "If we are really lucky, the portal might eventually show us a spot in Allaria or Aqualaria."

"Or it might disappear altogether," Velus pointed out.
