"This is Arlene Ilean, with CNN." comes from the TV after a buncha of annoying beeps that aggravated Scott's migraine.
"Exactly seven minutes ago, the state of Nebraska vanished. All that is left is a perfect hole, one mile deep. The walls are smooth and pure black. Yes, folks, I know this sounds astonishing but..."
The scene changes to view, well, a Nebraska sized hole.
"Astonishingly, this has all been predicted for many weeks now by an elderly homeless man that had bothered CNN staffers as they had gone to work. All efforts to locate this homeless man has been proved fruitless. In another clue, an email to our executive producer, Chet Youbetcha, has blamed this all on Josh Blaburnk and a button marked 'Beetlejuice'."

  1. The homeless man shows up in the Staircase Room.
  2. Josh changes the channel to the Powerpuff Girls.
  3. Lots42 comes by and offers everyone painkillers.
  4. The window glass falls out and rolls away. All without breaking.
  5. Meanwhile, out in Nebraska
