Fight Like Furious

"You have no chance!" the Usurper taunted. "I base my fighting style on the character of Voldo from the videogame Soul Calibur - a game at which I am undefeated! Wallow in your despair, puny mortal!"

"I didn't expect those strange fighting tricks from the eastern lands!" the Knight said, standing up. "You won't get me again!"

"We'll see about that!" the Usurper smiled, jumping up and strangely swaying his arms and legs back and forth while keeping his torso erect.

"Be careful, Fred!" Betty said. "He may look weak and nerdy, but he's fast and you can't break his bones no matter how hard you try!"

The Knight started forward again. The Usurper remained in place, smiling and swaying. As the Knight came within range he threw a left swing at the Usurper's midsection - to the Knight's great surprise the Usurper leapt into the air over his swing and landed a savage set of slashes to the Knight's chest and neck. The Knight's chainmail protected his chest, but the collar of his silk shirt ripped and blood spurted. Then the Usurper landed in front of him and sweep-kicked him to the floor again.

"Ha, haa!" the Usurper laughed, hopping away. "Sucks to be you! Tell you what. I'll lay supine and let you have a swing at me!"

When the Knight got up, he saw that the Usurper was indeed laying on his back.

"Get up!" the Knight groaned, hastily bandaging his neck with his handkerchief, stopping most of the bleeding. "There's no way I'll strike a man on the ground - its against the Code of Chivalry!"

"Your momma licks horse rectum!" the Usurper said gleefully.

"Wh...what?!!" the Knight roared. The ground shook as he charged. "You die now!!!"

Not even Betty was sure what happened next. The Usurper moved too fast, rising up like a tornado to land slash after slash to the Knight's face, arms, chest and midsection. This time the chainmail tore, sending profuse showers of blood spurting everywhere. Groaning in pain the Knight flew back, losing his grip on his sword and landing on the floor again. Then the Usurper was upon him, and raised his claw above the Knight's face. "Any last words?"

"You fight like a tavern wench!" the Knight gurgled, coughing up blood. "No wait, I can do better than that..."

"Too late!" the Usurper cackled and...

1. Meanwhile, Betty had already logged back on to Extend-A-Story, and was humming cheerfully as she typed...
