Janitor's Union 50771 Classification Rules)?
Sorry about that, Union rules. So how were they trapped?

A stone and metal gate that had dropped out of the disguised ceiling of the entrance passageway.

A glimmering orange forcefield. (Classification Ultra-Density, Non-Fatal; Force Field Maintainers Union Documentation).

Zombies! Fortunately they could not get in, yet, due to several large boxes of heavy thingies block the entrance.

Cave in! (Seems the Cave-Maintainers Union were corrupt, much like the Force Field and Armoury Janitor unions).

Dementia. It was a pretty nasty spell. (They had a union for mind spells, until the fourth meeting went horribly wrong and everyone forgot where the Meeting Hall was).

Ennui.

The dragon filled the tunnel entrance.

A booby trap had dropped them into a large room filled with dank smelling air and moldy piles of, well, more mold. (The janitors for this space had long been eaten by ... um, mold).
