At the Armoury

Velus led Astra through one passageway after another, until eventually
they arrived at the armoury for the Dragon's soldiers. One man was
supposed to be guarding the entrance, but since it was many years since
anyone had attempted to raid the armoury he had made himself comfortable
and gone to sleep.
Astra couldn't afford to be squeamish. She searched around for a conveniently sized rock, and then based the man's skull in. Once inside the armoury, she examined the racks of weapons. What was there all seemed to be of excellent quality. She selected a fine broadsword. She would have liked a scabbard and belt to go with it, but she wasn't sure whether her curse would consider a belt as clothing and didn't want to find out the hard way. She also took a large oval shield made of some silvery metal that was unfamiliar to her. Now that she was armed, she felt rather happier.
