When Astra thought about it, she realized that this made some
amount of sense. The young businessman whose life she'd
inadvertently saved would probably spread the word, and this would
attract the attention of those in Daelin who would try to use her for
their own gain. It was quite a distance through the Three Kingdoms
to Aqualaria, and even in Luthor and Stormgarde to the south she
would still be within their reach. Better to travel to the west, then, as
she was not far from the western border of the Three Kingdoms.
On the other hand, she knew very little about what lay to the west of the Three Kingdoms. She had heard of divided city of Vjoricia, where a state of eternal tension existed between the wizards and the mundanes, but knew of little else, apart from a few legends that said that vampires lurked in this part of Havnheim, and of the legendary lost city of Ilios which was said to lie near here. But Astra had more pressing problems ahead of her at the moment.
