Paulito's REAL Grave?
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 2971

You had thought that the pit would be a dark abyss descending
untold leagues into
the earth. This eerie round room with its grim overlords cut into the
walls along with the
devilish chanting that echoes in the chamber from the passageway yet
unexplored had
given rise in your mind of vast cyclopean expanses and demon-haunted
tableaus. To your
surprise you find that the pit is actually just a square hole only four
feet deep. Somehow,
you feel disappointed.
Your disappointment though is lessened somewhat by the sight of a man lying at the bottom of the hole. He is wrapped from head to toe in wide, white bandages. It suddenly dawns on you; could this be Sir Paulito? The rectangular pit certainly gives the impression of a grave, now that you are standing right over it. But why would someone dig first one grave and then tunnel underneath it just to dig another one? And who were these people? Where did they come from? Were they people or were they demons, monsters that served the vile Dragon? You grudgingly admit to yourself that the place is starting to get to you. You glance over to the second passageway, you do not want to be caught unawares. But you cannot leave this enigmatic corpse without first knowing who it is. Or more rightly, who it isn't. You jump into the pit and reach down to the bandages covering its face.
