Chaos in the Cafeteria

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 28865

The cafeteria had been closed off with black-and-yellow tape. The Doctor ducked under it, pushed open the door, and entered.

"Oh, dear," he said as he looked around. "It's worse than I'd thought."

Indeed, "chaos" was the only possible word to describe the sight that met his eyes. Silver doors blinked in and out of existence on every wall. At one of the cafeteria tables, a gorilla with a toaster for a head sat eating what looked to the Doctor like lime-mango pudding -- a rather neat trick for an entity with no mouth, he noted abstractedly. Even as he watched, the gorilla rose from its seat, morphed into a flying zebra, and dove into a puddle of dark in the middle of the room. Elswhere in the room, other equally strange creatures and objects were appearing and disappearing with alarming rapidity.

"So," the Doctor muttered, "you don't have as solid a control over this reality as you'd like us to believe, do you, Scott Chen? I suppose that might be a good thing, but on the other hand..." He glanced around as a jellybean with a Samurai sword appeared and neatly decapitated another flying zebra before being taken out with a karate chop from a scantily-clad woman, who then disappeared in a shower of sparks. "It could be very, very bad indeed!"

  1. Unfortunately, it was at this point that the Doctor learned he was far from immune to the chaos effects...
  2. Meanwhile, back in the clasroom (tick, tick tick)...
  3. Meanwhile, the Master...
  4. Unfortunately, it was at this point that the Doctor learned he was far from immune to the chaos effects...(pointless version)
