Censorship, in a School Library? What a Thought!

At that exact moment, the assistant principal came gliding in. "WHY ARE YOU NOT STUDY-ING?" it shrilled out.

"Because," said the Doctor, waving a book under what passed for the Dalek's face, "these books are useless! Useless! Look at this!" He snatched a dictionary up from the floor where he'd dropped it and flipped it open. "This dictionary goes right from 'chamaephyte' to 'char.' The page in-between is ripped out! Right where the entry for 'chaos energy' ought to be! And look! Look!" He pulled out a copy of Who's Who in the Addventureverse from under a teetering pile of reference books. "There's an entire chapter blacked out, but if you look very closely, you can just make out the words 'Scott Chen' in boldface at the top."

"DE-FACING BOOKS," said the assistant prinicpal. "AN ADD-ITIONAL TWENTY HOURS OF DE-TENTION!"

"It wasn't me!" said the Doctor. "Someone has been censoring your library. And I have a very good idea who it is, too!" He lifted his face to the ceiling, as if talking to an invisible person in the sky. "I say, Mr. Chen, it's hardly very fair of you to drop us into the middle of a game and then prevent us from learning the rules!"

"YOU ARE TALK-ING TO PEO-PLE WHO DO NOT EX-IST," said the Dalek. "YOU ARE CLEAR-LY MENTALLY DIS-TURBED. I MUST NOTIF-Y THE SCHOOL PSYCH-OLOGIST."

"Yes, yes, fine, you do that," muttered the Doctor, clearly distracted. "In the meantime, I think I'll just go and check out the cafeteria. I'm rather curious about this 'chaos energy,' and I think it's time I investigated." He began to brush past the Dalek towards the libary door.

1. Where he was suddenly met by the physics teacher, Ragan and the Master in tow.
2. But the assistant principal blocked his path, waving its gunstalk at him menacingly.
3. Meanwhile, back in the classroom...
