Lava Man led them through the maddening maze of the Southern Caves, never
guessing at any fork or turn or vertiginous pit (not to be confused with
the many other classes of pits, each unique in their own right). He
explained to them
many things about the wide underworld that stretched all along the
nethermost (not to be confused with the nethervoid) roots of the
Shrekken, apparently much wider than any of them
had guessed. Well, Velus might have (guessed), but no one really cares.
"Let us show off our might when we arrive at the Drake Cavern," Lava Man suggested forcefully, forming another fireball and posing as if he was about to hurl one right at them. "You claim to be a mighty dragonslayer, let us see you kill a lowley cave drake!" Fred looked around. "Who, er, what? Were you talking to me?""Harumph! WHO ELSE!?" "Oh, well...uh...sure, no prob. Aint no thang but a chicken wing."
