Rules being rules, although Lord Fred had offered to Daemon Jeff the
option of going first, they had to flip for it. Unfortunately they had no
coin to flip, no coins were found anywhere in the abandoned underground
sub-cavernous village-in-a-pit. So the men, being men after all, found
the next best thing to flip: Astra.
"HEY!!!" "Heads!" yelled Fred as the disturbed woman-warrior rose into the air after Korval hefted her onto his massive shoulders. "Butt!" sneared the Master Daemon. Astra, unprepared at this turn of events landed on her stomach with a big "OOF!", and with her heiney sticking up into the air. "Ha!" screamed Jeff. "I win!" "Only the toss, little monkey," said Fred. "Only the toss." Even as the Daemon Ruler of the Underworld looked at its first card, it cackled: "Prepare for annihilation! Your soul is MINE, mister tin-can! Get ready for your one- way trip to the Shadow Realm!"
