Grand Hall

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 23994

Fred finds himself in a grand hall. Support columns as far as the eye could see. Tapestries covered the walls that spread out and wide into the darkness. Tables, filled with long rotted food and rusted out silverware. One had an elf-made lantern, which lit for noble folks only. The skeltons of a few souls lay sprawled here and there, some with arrows in the front.
Far in the back was a raised platform where the king presumably sat.
Fred put his sword in his scabbard and reverently took a sword from a form sitting upight against a pole. Two arrows rested in his ribcage like sleeping birds.
"Do not curse me, good sir." he said. "Your sword will hopefully help me destroy the dragon."
With that, Fred took the lantern, which shone as he willed and...

  1. explored to the left.
  2. explored to the right.
  3. heard a monkey.
  4. heard the sound every civilized man dreaded. "Hi, I'm Josh Burbank! Want a hug?"
  5. left the hall to re-enter the court-yard.
  6. was tormented by visions. The man whose sword he took was secretly a serial killer. His death, while defending his king, was ironic.
