The chains were old and rusty and had fallen apart when Fred destroyed them. Astra lamented this as they might have made a sufficent weapon.
Then Fred's argument against Artemis staying flared up again. Astra looked back and forth.
Then she swung a mighty blow.
Artemis caught it with her fist, two inches from her own left temple.
The ladies lowered their hands. "Lord Fred." said Astra. "My lasting thanks for freeing me but I will be staying with Artemis. Please travel with us on our quest to destroy the dragon."

  1. Fred does so.
  2. Fred has a rare attack of stupidity and ventures off on his own.
  3. Their conversation is interupted by a thin stream of lava that moves on it's own towards them. All three are forced to run.
