Fred and his newfound companion, Astra, went up the slightly inclined
rocky path that was to the north of the lake. It crested and split to the left and right. Ten yards past the border of the path was a cliff. The two ventured closer and saw a grand sight. Miles and miles of green, lush land, an unobstructed view straight to the bright blue horizon. "This almost makes the weirdness worth it." said Astra, drinking in the view. "And look, villages!" To the west was one village, surrounded by thick woods. To the east was a larger, more complicated village, practically a city, surrounded by farmland and oddly large boulders. Two powerful rivers seperate both. Both villages were at least five miles from each other. But if the paths continued down the mountain... "One or the other." said Astra. The two venture on. Which village do they end up in as the sun goes down?
