The Never Ending Quest - Episode 22975

Karen

"So glad you do not agree with this 'Feminist Cabal' member," Synizn says a bit wryly, "But what do you, the man they call 'Bruce', have to do with this?"

.....

"And that might shed some light on things," I mutter, rubbing the back of my hand where I had slammed it into the back of this "Cabalist's" head called Debbie. I couldn't understand much of anything of what she'd said, she seems to keep switching back and forth from a foreign tongue to something I and the others can understand. She had said something about a young man named Scott having dumped her before she could have at some kind of costume party (re: 15636). Also, couldn't follow (or understand) all of it, but from what I gather this "Scott fellow might have been rather smart at having dropping this.....female. Won't call her a "woman" because that cheapens the word. She is quiet a piece of work, seeming to believe that this gives her just cause in advancing the rights of women in attacking ALL men with this....strange looking device. It looks like something like a crossbow with some missing parts, but with some....er....missing parts.

.....

For the life of me I'd swear I should know what it is.

Well, I and my battle sisters had taken her equipment and actions as hostile towards the males who seemed to appear out of thin air along with her. The device she had seems to only squirt out plain water, but it had a startling effect on at least ONE member! The young Oriental looking man I believe is called "Rama" transformed into a small, red haired (!) Oriental woman! The others that got splashed by Debbie were rather alarmed by this (but I feel that they were alarmed before), especially when that water seemed to evaporate (or just get sucked inside them) upon contact.

Something very sinister about that water, obviously. Guess that is just why the others attacked Debbie....though I somehow get the feeling that with all that "kiaing" and such the attackers hadn't expected to injure themselves in the process. No, I'm not saying that Debbie was all that effective in fighting them off. Point in fact, she seemed rather surprised that her victims should have been able to strike her and shatter that odd, hollow, water filled device of hers. She got sopping wet herself for a few seconds herself before the water got absorbed into her (or whatever). By the time we forcedly seperated them, the one's known as Hashimoto, Bruce, and Rama had the most fascinating collection of popped tendons and broken bones by some of the moves they seem to try in their attacks with martial arts! God above, it was almost like real people trying to execute something from a Japanese Anime!

......

Martial arts? What are martial arts?

What the devil is a Japanese Anime?!

Sigh, yet another flash of something and now it's GONE again! Had hoped that the magic users could have done something about that, but they had sadly told me that their best equipment they could use in helping me and Rebecca was back in their homeland and unless I feel like INSISTING on going along to that faraway, exotic land I fear I shall never regain my memories.

Thank goodness that I have family, a sister, to help me through this trying time as well as my "other" sisters. My comrades in arms...

Well, that aside, it appears that Bruce is about to answer Synizn after the demifox repeats himself in some similar sounding, alien tongue that Bruce had spoken when it.... It happens.

It first happens with "Rama", who'd been muttering something about wanting a shot of hot water. Her form blurs and changes and when it stops Rama is gone. IN her place stood an uninjured, buxomly and scantily clad blond woman. The look in her eyes lent me to believe told two things. First, this woman was rather....er....wanton. The other thing is about her intelligence. If she could have two thoughts running around in that pretty little head of hers, I'd be rather surprised!

Hashimoto screams something vile sounding, and then follows suit. Instead of a blond, she is a red headed bimbo.

Bruce, wide eyed and angry, turns instead to the staring Debbie and screams about how he hates this Feminist Cabal, who used such stupid methods of turning "male chauvinist pigs" men into the very object that they objected to...

Whatever they and the others would have said next is lost as what seems like the very SKY opening up and drawing them all back into...someplace else. Someplace that seems to call to me.

And then the sky closes and it is as if they had never been, leaving us all just looking at each other and shaking our heads!

I know where they'd been called to, those strange folks. Back to that Hellish place called "Game 3". The very place that Astra and the others were attempting to save us all from!

I would rather die than to go there if insanity like this was the norm! According to what I've learned, such things as that is the norm.

So it was without many qualms that Illura practically orders the demifoxes back to be with Rebecca after they tentatively offer to stay behind and ride along with the New Amazons, just in case more insanity from Game 3 shows up.

See, she knows the score here as well as the rest of us, now. It's now so clear. Our cause is important, but if the Champion's mission with Rebecca should fail then we of this world will be a permanent part of that insanity!

And so they go flying back to join the others to aid with the centaur's move up to our secret base....

  1. Days later, what is left of a scouting party comes stumbling back to Samuel's camp, screaming something about mad half horse men and half horse women!
