"You realise what this means," Nomino put in. "There must be two adult dragons in these caves, not one as everybody has always assumed."

"Never mind that for the moment," Fred replied. "We've got to kill all these baby dragons."

"We can't do that," Velus said. "They're helpless, and kind of cute."

1. "No, you can't do that," a loud voice said. A dragon entered the room at the far end. Fred wasn't sure whether it was the mummy dragon or the daddy dragon.
2. One of the baby dragons breathed quite a respectably sized jet of flame towards them, and they hurriedly took a pace backwards. Perhaps the babies weren't quite as helpless as they looked.
