Fred goes through indoctrination. He is shown his office (suprisingly
large and airy). He is shown his staff (surly and overweight). He is shown
the weapons room (shiny!) and the barracks (stinky!) and the five hundred
men he commanded (tall!). He is given a bunch of books. The first one has a smiling foreign legion man on the cover. It reads 'So You've Joined The Legion'. Fred throws them all away at the first opprotunity. He summons Astra to his office. He spiffies up the bookcases and polishes the aquarium as he waits the expected minute. (Woman's barracks were far off). She comes with a set of orders. The Commander had intercepted her, coincedentally enough, outside of the woman's showers. He had coughed and handed her the folder and ran off. Fred flipped through the papers, then jammed them into a desk drawer which would not be opened for fifteen hundred years. Then the papers inside would launch a religion of peace and prosperity and look at women naked. What was the mission for Fred and his men (and women)?
