The book's title was "A Brief History of the World," written by one Professor Stacy Jones. Despite its claim to be brief, it was 600 pages long and had type so small that Andrea had to squint extremely hard to read it.

She decided to flip to a random passage in the book.

  2. It was in what for Andrea would be the future and covered some obscure war in Nippon.
  3. It was in the near future and covered the effects of Andrea's quest.
  4. It was in the present and covered the invasion of Allaria by aliens from another planet.
