Astra De Milo

Fearing what she might see, she twisted her head around - and quickly saw the true horror of her situation. He right shoulder matched her left in every respect. Smooth, beautiful skin, untainted by any sign of a limb.

"Oh good, you're awake," came a mild but recognizable voice from behind her. "Now we can talk."

"You madman!" she screamed. "What have you done to me?!? Restore me or I'll, I'll..."

"You'll what?" Vincent asked, sounding slightly amused. "Kick at me? No, I don't think so. I've got your legs securely strapped down for the moment, and the only other thing you can do is bite me - and I don't plan to get quite that close to you." Vincent walked around in front of her, followed by his toasterilla, Bobo, - and Fred!

"Lord Fred?" she asked in shock. Fred said nothing. His scissor-like hands seemed to open and close at random; his face was pale and drawn, with eyes that were blank and staring at nothing and strangely black lips pursed in a perpetual grimace.

"Oh, he won't answer you, I'm afraid. The shock of having accidentally hurt you pushed him right over the edge - which that made it much easier for me to make him one of my enterouge."

"Oh, Fred!" Astra moaned, sick at heart over what had been done to this brave and gallant knight.

"Well, never mind him," Vincent said, pulling up a chair and sitting backwards on it to face Astra. "Let's talk about you. You see what I can do to you when you don't co-operate. I'd like to have the services of a brave young warrior such as yourself - and to be quite frank, you're much easier on the eyes than either Bobo or Scissorhands here. Swear your loyalty to me, and I'll make you better than new. If you don't - well, you see what happened to poor old Freddy Scissorhands here. Believe me - that's mild compared to what I can do with the magical & scientific powers I can wield. So - what do you say?"

1. Astra looked disgusted, but finally said - "Very well - but only if you restore Fred to his old self as well."
2. "Serve you?!" Astra exclaimed. "There is no chance of that! Do your worst!"
3. In response, Astra broke free from her leg restraints and kicked Vincent square on the chin!
4. Horrified beyond belief, Astra faints.
5. Without warning, Fred thrust his bladed hands straight through Vincent's chest.
