Aaron and Sarah are initially reluctant to get involved, but you talk them round. It looks from the drunken condition of the man you saw first as though at least some of the enemy band have gone into the inn to get what intelligence they could, prior to breaking into the store and taking what they need. If they are to make it look as if the New Amazons could be responsible, they will have to avoid being seen whilst doing this, or if anyone should spot them then presumably they will have to kill him.

From what you have heard, it sounds as though King Hengist may after all still be in control of Zendara, and that Aaron's fear that he may now be a prisoner could be wrong. Either that, or these men are not up to date with recent events, which in this remote area is certainly possible.

After brief discussion (for time is clearly too short for a long one), the three of you decide that:

1. You alone will go back into the village as stealthily as possible and warn the storekeeper, who can then get help from the other villagers. This will minimise the risk of giving too much away to the enemy.
