King Emry and the company of Troupes Divina were driving their horses hard
to get to Obsollom. Things hadn't been as they expected when arrived to
Trescent. Every village they passed had been in a state of celebration.
Apparently the peasant uprising had been on a much larger scale than Emry
could possibly have imagined. According to the people a rogue army called The Black Hand had defeated Zular's soldiers and their charismatic leader, known only as The Dragonslayer, had executed Zular himself. It would be an understatement to claim that this had been unpleasant news for the king. Though he had wanted to get rid of Duke Zular, having a large part of his kingdom be overtaken by bandits wasn't an agreeable option. He knew that his Troupes Divina had defeated enemies far outnumbering them before so he didn't fear this 'Black Hand'. What troubled him was who this 'Dragonslayer' might be. Could it be...? Fred walked into the main hall of Obsollom Castle and was greeted by a cheer from the people assembled there. Trescent was at last free from the Mollari's tyranny and the house of Suffex would take their place. Now they could start to rebuild the wealth of the duchy.
