On the Run

“Look out!” shouted Astra. She grabbed Fred’s hand and started running, dragging our hapless hero behind her. They ran across the beach with the men gaining on them more and more by the minute.

This is it, Fred thought, I’m going to die! All because I wanted to kiss some beautiful girl! I wish I were gay! Since this new wish now superceded his wish to kiss Astra as his greatest wish, Fred suddenly became homosexual. Of course, he didn’t notice this in all the confusion, but it will come into play later on.

Astra let Fred into a narrow alleyway. This gained some time as their pursuers had to dismount their steeds in order to continue the chase. “We need to hide, but where?” They ducked into a dingy little cantina.

“What’ll it be?” asked the barman. “I’ll take a Grasshopper,” said Fred.

“And for the lady?”

1. “I’ll have the same.”
2. “Whiskey”
3. “Cerveza”
4. “Milk”
