Strange Kiss
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17965

Fred and Jarlath found themselves staring into the woman's white eyes with inexplicable
horror. She took a step toward Jarlath, holding out her arms. Fred wanted to aid him, but
couldn't move. He felt like he was caught in a nightmare. Jarlath tried to move his mouth
and say a spell of protection, but he too could not move. Fred watched as the woman took
him into an embrace, then bent down to kiss him full on the mouth. Jarlath closed his eyes
as he recieved the kiss. She then slowly released him, turned around, and walked off into
the shadows of the cave.
As she left, Fred's numbness slowly wore off. Jarlath, on the other hand, had his eyes closed and was standing straight as a rod, his mouth wide open. Fred ran over to him and tried to shake him to awareness, but found he was completely immobile. His jaw slowly closed. His lips twisted into a smile of pure ecstasy.
