The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17635

Trying not to draw attention to herself, Betty-2 flicked her gaze from the door control on the console to the two Time Lords, and back to the door control. The Master and the Rani, their faces turned away from her, still hadn't noticed that she'd regained consciousness, but if she went for the door control, surely she'd be caught before she could bolt from the TARDIS.

Then again, they did appear to be very engrossed in their argument...

Aw, hell, she thought. No guts, no glory. You knew the companion gig was dangerous when you took it. And with that, she lunged across the console room, got her hand around the knob, and pulled. By the time the two renegades had turned around, the doors were already opening, and she was already on her way towards them...

  1. But before she could quite reach them, the Master shot her with the device... And this time, it did have an effect.
  2. But the Rani had launched herself across the console room and grabbed her by the collar before she even got halfway.
  3. The Rani and the Master managed to get in each other's way just long enough for her to reach the doors and bolt outside.
