The capitol city of Kells seemed like the right place for Lord Fred to
stay, if only briefly. Here he could eventually raise enough money to buy
a little equipment to make it back to his own country. He found a place
in an alley where many other homeless slept. Some of them were very good
men down on their luck. They begged and worked odd jobs. Others were
more cunning thieves. Although it was now nearing dusk, he decided that
he ought to do something to find a little money and buy some food.
