Picard expresses sympathy for Sisko's plight but believes calling out for Q is just too dangerous.

  1. Q shows up on Deep Space Nine anyway.
  2. Kes shows up on Deep Space Nine.
  3. Another Q, hereby referred to as Q2, shows up. Q2 has fallen in love with the space station itself. Q2 thinks it's alive.
  4. Q turns Picard into a Romulan Vergerian for daring to speak to him. (Fortunately Vergerians could be calmed by Betazaoids).
