The flight gave Stacy the chance to review what she knew about herself.
She was Dr Stacy T Jones. She had probably obtained her first degree at
Yale. The subject
might have been been mathematics, and Hooker had been one of her
lecturers. [7701]
She also had a DSc from Harvard, possibly in particle physics given the
contents
of the paper that had been the cause of so much trouble. [6312]
According to Hooker, she had a sister [7669, option 4]. She knew where
she lived: Apartment 4; 20, West 55th St. [6200] She appeared to have had
only seven dollars
in the bank, the last time she had been able to check. [5819]
She recalled that she still had a potential problem with the DoD wanting access to her research. [6427 - option 2] At least she was no longer in a position to give them her paper, since she herself didn't have a copy anymore. Unfortunately she knew that she could recall most of the equations, and it wouldn't be hard to recreate those that she had forgotten.
When the flight landed, Stacy and Julie were met by a police car, which took them to a local police station station for a debriefing by Falk (who had come up from his patch in New Jersey to meet them). They would be required as witnesses in the forthcoming trial, of course, but that was likely to take several months to set up. Stacy's transponder was then removed, and appointments with a top neurosurgeon were arranged for both women, to see if anything could after all be done about their amnesia. (Stacy wondered who was going to be paying for this.) [Ignore the sig. I'd forgotten that the flight was taking them back to New York, rather than Falk's patch somewhere in NJ.]
