Hannah was now acting almost exactly as Fred would, and so it no longer quite felt like he was riding in the passenger's seat; it almost felt like he was making his own choices. So he really didn't have much left to complain about; there was just some tiny part of him that wasn't content with what was going on. He wished that part would just shut up so he and Hannah could be happy. Belboz and Hannah appeared in what the girl could only assume was Iddiott's living room. The fireplace was lit, and in front of it stood a big comfy-looking chair. Aside from that, the room was completely adorned with animal skins. There was a bearskin rug and a ridiculous number of heads protruding from the walls. A stuffed cougar was off to the side next to a twenty-foot snakeskin. Looking at it all, Hannah's only thought was how manly this Iddiott must be. Suddenly, she realized that the comfy chair was, in fact, occupied! From it, a tall figure rose, a figure who turned out to be none other than Iddiott the Fool himself. "Iddiott, this is your wife-to-be, Hannah," said Belboz, gesturing to the girl next to him, who was about to explode with excitement. The hulking man looked Hannah up and down, and his grunt seemed to be one of approval. Hannah and Fred both gave inward screams of delight.
