Stacy blinked. What the heck did that mean? She wondered if she'd written it, and realized with a sense of dismay that she didn't even really know what her own handwriting looked like. Flipping to another sheet, she experimentally wrote out a few lines. The writing matched. Interesting. Not knowing quite what else to do, Stacy stuck the notepad in her bag and once again began thinking about how she was going to find whatever temporary space was currently serving as her office.

1. She ventured back out into the hallways.
2. Just then, Bob and Mandy appeared.
3. Someone she didn't recognize appeared in the doorway.
