Astra, Or So She Knows

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12550

Astra swims up the myterious passageway near the lake. She comes to a small, smooth rocky ledge with a door on each end. The water goes far past it, into unknown, unguessable shadows. The ceiling is rocky, with many gaps and protusions. She sees two watercraft, tied up to this rocky dock, dimly familar. Had she been a passenger on one? Both? The pattern of water indicates people went through both doors. She dimly sees doggy footprints but this means nothing to her. The only distinctive feature was a white circle on one door, the one the dog-prints head to.

  1. Go through the door with the white circle.
  2. Go through the other door.
  3. Set both craft adrift.
  4. Set both craft alight.
  5. Suddenly, a man in healer's robes and a ninja mask leaps down from the ceiling (there had been a ventilation shaft).
  6. Furious wind blows down from the unknown end of the waterway.
  7. Several men burst out of the water.
  8. One lone woman, with the features of the Far-Ocean-Landers, appears from a ceiling gap. She bows to Astra.
