Everyone turned to face the materialising TARDIS. Was it the Rani, come to gloat (assuming that the Master's theory was correct and she was responsible for recent strange events)? For her to do that might seem risky, but - although she was undeniably extremely intelligent - she had always been arrogant and wisdom had never been one of her strengths.

  1. The materialising TARDIS took on the familiar form of a blue police box.
  2. The materialising TARDIS had a working chameleon circuit. It took on the appearance of a small extension to the VLA Operations Center.
