The Never Ending Quest - Episode 117915

Fred went forward to as close to the exit as he dared, hoping that as he was still in darkness he couldn't be seen, and looked around. He saw that about five metres from the exit was a huge bath, big enough even for a dragon. On its way into the bath, the water flowed over a long metal rod, one end of which was stuck into a blazing fire. That must be how the water was brought up to a comfortably warm temperature before plunging over a lip into the bath. To one side of the bath were large jars that must contain the spiced oils that he could smell. The room was hot and steamy.

  1. The room was currently unoccupied.
  2. There was a masseuse or some other maidservant in the room, either making preparations for the dragon's next bath or clearing up after one.
  3. The dragon was bathing, with a freely-perspiring masseuse wearing only a loincloth in the bath with him, rubbing oil into his scaly skin.
