The Never Ending Quest - Episode 117478

Hannah was a perfect little lady. She was beautiful, she moved with grace and poise, and she always did as she was told. Her eyes were blank, and her smile was empty, but nobody quite seemed to notice or care.

And one day, something inside of her snapped.

She didn't think about running away. She didn't plan to. But one night, just before curfew, she slipped into her slippers and nightie, and instead of going to bed, she walked out the door and into the trees.

The school's property was extensive, but no thoughts ran through her head, except Walk. And walk she did. At some point she left the grounds behind. Midnight was surely drawing near. It dimly occurred to her that there were a few huntsmen with bloodhounds employed by the school who might be able to track her. Immediately upon the dawning of this thought, she began to run. Her slippers flew off, her perfect feet became covered with nasty scratches. Her mind continued to be empty save for white noise. She sprinted on.

And of a sudden, in the wee hours of the morning, she slowed down, energy entirely depleted, and fainted.

Shortly before the break of dawn, she was found by

  1. a hunting party just leaving from a nearby village. They brought her back with them safely.
  2. a clumsy giant. Struck by her beauty, he took her with him to his mountain home.
  3. mischievous woodland spirits. They began to weave enchantments over her as she slept.
  4. a caravan of slave traders. They seized her at once.
  5. the school. She was taken back to be subject to a reprimanding and investigation.
  6. Belboz.
