Five weeks stuck in a caravan with your brother-turned-sisters

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 116552

THus begins quite possibly the strangest family road trip in the history of the realm.

With the longer route Mira has in mind, the journey of twenty-three days is made significantly longer--almost doubled, but there is not exactly a great variety of options and beggars can't be choosers.

After supplying the sisters with simpler dresses, all of which fit somewhat decently, Mira tells them over a meal that if all goes well, they should be back at the D'Honaire manor in about five weeks. Together, they compose a letter that explains the insane situation as concisely and convincingly as possible, and send it off by messenger hawk to their parents, also asking within it that Endurin try to devise some way to fix Fred before they get back.

Naturally, they make no other attempt to tell anyone, on or off the caravan, of the situation. Mira, as a lady, puts down any attempt at asking questions with relative ease.

  1. a week into their journey, the Fred-sisters all are struck with a mysterious illness
  2. two weeks into their journey, they stop in a town for supplies and find posters everywhere of the five "kidnapped" princesses of Gully, as well as the suspect, Mirabell D'Honaire
  3. three weeks into their journey, they are accosted by brigands
  4. after four weeks, Mira is targeted by a deranged magician--coincidence?
  5. after five weeks, they arrive at home
  6. after five weeks, they arrive at home--but the manor is completely abandoned
  7. after five weeks, they arrive at home--and Jane is there waiting for them!
