Belboz stood in the middle of the forest, staring at the empty space where the portal had been just yesterday, and looked in despair down at the form of Lord Fred in his arms. Her head was lolled to the side, her long brown hair spilling downward, reaching halfway to the ground. She was still deeply unconscious.

He was going to have to continue dating her friend to stay close enough to keep an eye on her. He knew that he would have to erase Joe's and Mel's memories of tonight, or it would look very bad that he and "Angela" had disappeared when they had.

  1. Based on Fred's reaction to his announcements, he would have to erase her memories too.
  2. But he knew that he didn't have enough power remaining to erase Fred's memories as well.
