She gasped, picking up the amulet to examine it. It appeared very expensive, a large red jewel with symbols carved into it dangling from a fine gold chain. "Uncle Belby, it's beautiful!" Of course, she immediately put it on, consequently triggering the magical properties of the amulet.

  1. She became very, very dimwitted.
  2. Her body was inhabited by the spirit that lived within the gemstone.
  3. She became obsessed with the amulet.
  4. She turned into a humanoid piece of red gemstone herself, the amulet melding with her craggy form.
