This resulted in a three and a half foot tall chunk of red gemstone standing in the middle of Charlotte's room. Her pretty dress had been stretched and torn, as the shape of the piece of rock that she had become could not naturally be described as humanoid. Stage three of making the knight completely unfindable was complete - stage one being placing him in this world, and stage two transforming him completely in body and mind. These were all complex enchantments and he'd needed help with each of them, but it was worth it to be certain the knight would remain out of the way. It was his destiny to slay the dragon, and this way, that destiny would almost certainly never come. The chances of his restoration were a billion to one. Especially since no one in this world could possibly know what must be done to unbind the amulet from its victim. Belboz removed the clothes from the chunk of gemstone. It wasn't easy getting it out of the house without being spotted, but he managed it. The only thing left to do was place it somewhere it wouldn't be noticed. Unfortunately, the stone was completely unbreakable, or he'd have obliterated it into a thousand pieces and scattered them across the four winds.
