The spirit rushed into Charlotte's body.

  1. Charlotte twitched, feeling something niggle at the back of her mind, but brushing it easily aside. The spirit lay in wait, wanting to learn more about this world before it did anything.
  2. A voice whispered to Charlotte, but she thought it was merely her own inner voice.
  3. The spirit immediately seized control of all Charlotte's faculties, and through her eyes it looked up at Belboz, and said, "I do not know who you are, but I thank you for giving me this form."
