Naturally, the buyer didn't know Belboz's true name or identity. Belboz decided that the idea of the once-knight bumbling about this state was amusing to him, and a funny trick to play on the buyer, so he decided to put Hannah to sleep so he could carefully bring the memories of her old life back to the fore. When the pig awoke, she felt... normal, but also everything was terribly fuzzy and disorienting. She was used to this life; she was with her mummy and daddy, and she trusted them both. She was taken care of and really wanted for nothing. But... wait. Didn't... didn't she used to be a man? A knight? That life seemed so very far away, but also so real... Instinctively, she stumbled over to Belboz, who was seated in a chair with a book across the room, and began to nudge at his feet, seeking comfort. He set his book aside and leaned down to pat her head and scratch her chin. "Everything coming back then, girl?" he asked merrily, and Hannah froze in bewilderment at his amused tone. "I reckon it's mighty confusing. I'm curious, what do you think of me now?" She was still frozen, completely unsure of the answer, and too overwhelmed to really contemplate it. She gave a brief, distressed squeal. "Interesting," said Belboz. "Well anyway. You're going to go for a pretty sack of coin, and the buyer will be here any minute. It's been real, kid." With a small grin, he waved his hand, and the poor pig fell asleep again. When she woke up, she was in an entirely new location:
