The transformations were quick, and due to the sleeping potion Belboz had given them in their dinner, they slept soundly right through them. The following morning, the two pigs woke up in an enclosure in the caves. Belboz hadn't bothered erasing their memories, and had instead enchanted them to not be alarmed by this change, to find it perfectly reasonable and normal. Or at least as far as they could get in thinking this, with their new limited IQs. Really it was just a measure to make sure they didn't lapse into panic upon realizing what they had become. Belboz fed the creatures slop, and they dug in greedily. After they had had their fill, he let them out to roam free in the caves. They wandered around, causing small messes, which he always scolded them for, but not too severely—they were, after all, just pigs. A few weeks had passed when
