It's been two years since Charlie saw Susie, but he now is positive he has a potion to restore her to her proper age. But now... now he finds out she's gone. He almost sinks into despair, but gathers himself up to begin studying to find a way to create a locating potion. It takes yet another two years. He worries every day that Susan might already be lost. But he has to try. When he's finally finished, he pours the potion over a large map, the biggest he could find, and it forms into a path for him to follow. And in fact... it looks like Susie can be no further than a few days' journey from the orphanage where he left her! But how can this be? Isn't that just a forest?
Inside two weeks [113123], Charlie is back at the orphanage, and three days later, he comes to a tree. He sees no sign of life, and yet this is where the map indicates Susie to be at this very moment. She should be seven years old by now, but surely she'll still remember him, still recognize him?
